> gateway = new SerialModemGateway("TusA", PORT, 7600, "Huawei", "E160");Is the "7600" a typo? That speed will not work correctly with the E160. Also, Sometimes the port will not become active on the modem until the SIM card has been initialized and the mobile carrier link has either been established or rejected. One last note. The E160 ( and some others) will expose 4 devices to the OS. Two of them will be flash drives and two will be COM ports. Both of the COM ports will be able to send messages but only one may be active at a time. The second one should also be used if you expect to get notifications and not poll for incoming messages. -nxn -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SMSLib User Group" group.
