I will have to have my programmer check those settings. Not that I know of, when I go to manufacturer's website, they only have two drivers listed, one for Win XP, Vista, 2000, etc. and one for Windows 7 Only. We get this error when using either of the manufacturer's two connection utilities (GlobeTrotter and uCANNConnect) as well as when not using either of those and just a basic dial-up connection. I have also tried using a different USB port. Could it be related to the motherboard that it's plugged into maybe?
