Marcos, Yes the modem has a SIM card. I checked the phone signal strength before I put the card in the modem and it had 1 to 2 bars. Not great but it can send/receive messages.
It also says, org.smslib.GatewayException: GSM Network Auto- Registration disabled! Does this mean something like the sim card and modem are incompatible?
