Hello, I downloaded 3.5.2 smslib and unzipped it. I see dist\lib\smslib-3.5.2.jar, pduutils.jar, smsserver-3.5.2.jar. In the installation instructions, it is mentioned to use Ant for building and deployment. I am kind of confused...
Can't I simply copy these jar files in my lib folder in the eclipse and use the API to send/receive SMS ? or am I missing some thing here ? What other benefits ANT would provide us ? Btw, I tried to use the sample SendMessage.java . I installed other dependencies mentioned on the installation page. However, when I try to send SMS using Nokia Asha 200 (Series 40), Service.getInstance().startService(); never returns. It kinds of hang. What am I missing here ? Are series 40 phones not supported ? Please help. Thanks Deep -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SMSLib Discussion Group" group.
