All,

Amazon EC2 has a service called SNS that can send generic "alerts" that can
be delivered in multiple ways -- SMS and email included. I've used neither
but need to create an alert system to page me in the middle of the night
should my application fail.

Has anyone else used both SNS and SMSLib? Any thoughts on getting them to
cooperate?
Has anyone developed a backend for SMSLib to delivery using SNS as another
provider? Or any other providers than the 2 listed?

The model is a little different -- SNS lets you keep lists of destinations
instead of having to pass the phone numbers each time. And recipients have
to "opt-in". But you can also set it up so they can self-register (go to
some URL if they want to sign up for your alerts and they are automatically
added to your list).
