Hi Thanasis!

I wandered if you could help me! We used to use a jsmsengine program to
send and receive SMS via external GSM modems connected to the serial port
on desktops. This worked brilliantly for us on older versions of Windows
and XP. We used the javax.comm in conjunction with this and it worked well!

We now want to run the same application on Windows 2008 R2 also with the
external modems via the serial port. I know javax.comm is not compatible
with 64bit systems so have been looking into the RxTX and JSSC
capabilities. I'm getting errors and excptions when the application
attempts to connect to the device which point to javax.comm even though its
not loaded?!... I'm not a java developer and have limited skills however
it seems that the jsmsengine program that we use might not compatible with
RxTX or JSSC?

I really need some advise on how we can get this to work with our new
server builds.

Can you point me the right direction or possibly provide a fix? I have
also noticed your name in the MF file :) I also have the jsmsengine.jar
file if this would help?

Any assistance would be much apprciated! :)

Many thanks.
