That's not how you would check on process explorer. Try this:
2. Download portmon and process explorer - two separate utilities. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/sysinternals/bb896644.aspx and http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx 3. Extract the above two programs in separate directories. 4. Open a DOS prompt. Navigate to portmon directory. Type portmon /s and enter. It will launch a window saying waiting for connection. Leave the dos prompt and the new window running. . 5. Open explorer. Navigate to portmon directory and double click on portmon. It will launch a window saying not connected. Focus on this window and press ctrl+R. Type localhost and enter. It will now connect to portmon that is waiting for connection. 6. Now we have portmon running properly. Click ports - it will be a drop down listing COM ports. There will be a string against each of the COM ports. Note down those strings. On mine the strings are named after the model of the phone - w810..... Yours may be named differently .. 7. Now open explorer and go to "process explorer" area that you unzipped. Launch process explorer and type the string. It will show you the process exe name that is using it.
