Hallo Malcolm, I've been using Intego for over a year now and have yet to come across any virus or spyware. Of course this could just be because it's no good and my iMac and Macbook are riddled with nasties, but since their performance is still excitingly fast (really!) I don't think that's the case.
I started using it to stop any PC viruses being propagated by email or whatever to friends PCs. Maybe they all use anti-virus software which is why I haven't had any so far... Someday it's got to happen though.
