I've heard that Apple may be working on a method to replace Target disk mode
using Ethernet. Sound feasible?

Dual link DVI means the laptop can run the 30" display, not two separate
screens. I think Target disk mode is gone as the rectangular USB ports are
'downstream' ie towards the computer, not 'upstsream' like the square or
mini USB ports found on external drives. I assume it's that way anyway, I
could be wrong.
