Hi there

New to the group, new to Mac, new to editing.

I'm trying to do everything on what comes with Leopard to prove that
it's easy to do video editing 'out of the box'.

I've been using iMovie to get some great clips together. But I have no
idea how to do the soundtrack. I can turn the sound for each clip
off, but I can't seem to place a soundtrack alongside.

Ideally I'd like to edit the sound track first then match the video to
the sound, but I have no idea how.

I've used Garageband to get the sound synced with the images, I've
worked out how to get video into GBand, but I can't edit/tweak the
video in GBand. So it's a bit of a pain to export from iMovie, import
into GBand, tweak, save the sound. etc. etc.

Can people recommend some great tutorials for this? I'm sure iMovie
can/should do it... otherwise I might have to try a different package.

Thanks in advance.

m
