Is there a member who might be able to use a March 2005 17" iMac that has lost its Sleep function. It has been tested and problem lies with logic board. Computer will not remain in Sleep mode by whatever method you ask and shuts down/powers off. This proved to be a problem I could not live with on a day to day basis and bought myself a Mac Mini. The iMac G5 is now redundant but not completely useless.
Is there anyone out there who could make use of this computer despite its lack of Sleep mode? I should like £300 ono for it. Collect from Groombridge. Spec: 512MB 80GB HD SuperDrive Airport Extreme Card-Z Blue tooth module. It comes with original box, documentation and installation CDs. I also have a white Apple wireless keyboard for sale for £20.00 ovno. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Sussex Mac User Group" group.
