I've just done something I usually actively try not to do - overwrite a file. B*!ger, I thought, as it is one that I do extensive updates to every week keeping a history folder of previous versions. But H G Wells came to my rescue and I'd recovered the overwritten file in seconds thanks to Time Machine.
The process is so simple as to be suspicious and I had to check that the recovered file was intact and not messed up in any way. SuperDooper! and other backup apps have their place but Time Machine is ace! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Sussex Mac User Group" group.
