Hi Wispa The way Time Machine works, it uses date stamped backups so that you can restore from the past 24 hours, 7 days, or 12 months. It's supposed to delete older backups when the drive runs out of space. If you go into Apple Menu > System Preferences > Time Machine > Options > You can select not to be warned when deleting old backups. That way your backups shouldn't fail when the drive gets full.
