Hi Andrew,
I used to use Elements 2,3, and Photoshop 7 I didn't get on well with
them as they all did things slightly differently. I even went to
evening classes. I then decided to take a look at Aperture 2 when it
came out. And what a difference. 1. I find the interface much more to
my liking. 2. I can still keep iPhoto as my master library. 3.There
are hundreds of tutorial videos and podcasts for free. I have been
able to carry out corrections accurately and in fraction of the time
it took me in Photoshop. One last endorsement... my son is taking a
degree in Photography and uses Photoshop all the time. He came home to
edit 200 wedding photos for a job he was doing, he was very impressed
with the program and has put one on his wish list. I hope this helps.
