Hi Philippe You'll need to locate all the device drivers for the laptop running in XP first, burn them to a CD, then boot from the XP installer disk, delete the partition (make sure you've backed up the files you need) and install XP. As with some new laptops there may not be any XP drivers for the hardware, some Acer laptops really are Vista only.
