My MBP battery (already replaced under warranty) is just about dead. After just 140 cycles and various calibrations/resets/etc its now almost impossible to use the MBP for more than a few minutes unless its plugged into a mains supply. So, I've resigned myself to getting a replacement. I'm loathe to pay out £97 to Apple when the current battery reviews are as bad as they've ever been (or are they worse?). So I guess I may as well pay half that cost with an OEM supplier, because I'm thinking the battery cannot be worse than an Apple one.
Has anyone bought a replacement battery for a MacBook Pro from a supplier other than Apple?
