had a kernel panic so I set up to run Diskwarrior. I have a
separate partition on my MB hard drive with a basic OS to run it
from. Ran Disk Utility happily then DW but DW froze twice, each
time on step 9 ('comparing directories'). I had to hold the
power button down both times.
any suggestions as to where I go from here? suddenly, target
disk mode looks rather useful as a fully unmounted disk is
probably safer...! I don't currently have a bootable clone as
I'm in the middle of moving stuff around between disks (I do
have a Time Machine backup).
other utilities to try?
