so is this like a digital network of 'walkie talkies". i am trying to find the
rationale for this obsessive connectivity madness.
from what i can gather it means a limitless amount of people can feed into
someone's twitter set up and everyone can keep putting in little updates.
but why? unless a group working on something that needs to intersect. then,
very handy. an example i saw was just a sort of mad, ongoing, virtual reality
show feed of people being seduced by banal babble and alerting each other that
they have just gone to the loo.
is it like a digital conference call? is it so its like an always "open line"
so at any given mo someone may be putting in an update and bump into someone
else and then they can communicate right then?
