Hello I may be crazy but I'm sure that the 'Outbox' in Mail.app would only appear when there was a message waiting to be sent (e.g. when offline). However after an SMTP server problem yesterday I have an Outbox showing always no matter if I am online, offline or what and it's empty.
Small thing but my muscle memory means that I'm clicking in the wrong place now as the Outbox has pushed all the usual mailboxes down one! Any ideas?
