I use the iTunes / iTunes-LAME combination for good quality mp3 creation
from normal aif files. I have noticed that for a couple of months at least
the way that it creates these mp3 files has changed. I would like to know
exactly why?
Before "the change", putting a bunch of files into iTunes produced a couple
of folders denoting the Album and Artist and the file started with a number,
starting "01". This all made perfect sense. "Unknown" albums (which most
of my files would be classed as) were just that.

Now, the Unknown album has a "~" before it and each track begins with "00. "
Currently I am changing everything back to the old standard.

Any ideas? I am sure that there is a reason for this change. I would just
like to know...
