Hallo Darren,

Just thought I'd let you know know how your Powermac is getting on. I've
upgraded the RAM to 640 MB and installed a copy of Tiger that I've got
laying around (as you do). When I opened the drive tray, however, I found a
CD of Panther already there. Do you want it back, or shall I bin it?

I have the G4 running as a print server at the moment and I've been
impressed with the speed of the old gal. I had a bit of a struggle setting
it up on my wireless network, until I tried using WPA encryption. I had
assumed that would be a bit too modern for it, but as soon as I switched
over to WPA, all the problems I'd been having disappeared! Macs, you've
gotta love 'em!

You mentioned that you might be getting rid of a 733MHz Powermac soon, could
I have first dibs please? It would go well on my little network of two Bondi
Blue iMacs, one Powermac,(thanks) two Macbooks, one G4 iMac and one Intel
iMac. I'm not sure, but I think I may be starting up my own personal Apple
museum...

Let's know about the Panther disc,
Frank.
