I am trying to pinch pennies. dont care if all i can do is 10 pix at a time and
then down load. thats fine for me. If i just get the memory card then i have to
take the damn thing to be transferred to a disc. annoying. And i dont want or
need to buy

a card reader
a memory card and then a
usb cable.

might as well buy a new camera.

i may just chuck the thing in the Gulf! I have chased up missing bits on things
like this before and its not worth the time or aggro. No doubt I will waste
money on a cable and then it all wont work for some reason. A cable already
costs about 20 ish; a memory card is 13--if I want to just get that and then
have pix transferred to a disc for about 3 bucks a time. BUT then one has to
wait to you fill the card.

Aw. Phooey.

The computers at my school use the automatic Kodak software with their cameras.
However, I think that iPhoto is MUCH easier, and has better results.
I got a cheap 4 GB memory card from Amazon some time ago.

I also bought a card reader from there.

Was just sent a friends good, but discarded Kodak EasyShare C300 digital camera.

As memory card and USB cable not included I checked with Kodak support and
discovered

1. I can use the internal memory worth about 10 pix rather than expense of a
card
which then would need to be transferred to a disc if i wanted to download pix
without ALSO buying a rather expensive USB cable.

2. Kodak support said I can just use iPhoto without having to download their
free software--which means one less gob of space taken up.

Soooooo, once I get the USB cable then how difficult is downloading from
camera's internal memory. Does something automatically happen when you plug in
the cord to the computer? ( I will check the manual instructions of course)

Any issues I should know about?  Thanks.
