Well thank you all for the kind welcome to the group.

My experience of transferring from Windows to OSX has been pretty
good. I can access my Windows laptop over my wireless, so I don't
actually need to open my laptop to work on it any more...One to two
'spaces' for laptop work..excel, word, powerpoint and the others I use
for mail/Camino ..(I prefer it to Safari) and the other iLife goodies
to stop me getting bored with work ....

I am enjoying getting into the nuts an bolts of XCode and Objective-C,
and can be found most evenings with my nose buried in yet another book
from Amazon...(I am a self confessed nerd, but I don't look like
one!!)

The one hurdle I have yet to overcome is a replacement for MSMoney,
which I have used happily for over 10 years. There seems not to be
anything similar in the OSX world...in that MSMoney integrates very
nicely with my bank (statements etc) and provides just the right level
of functionality. I know one answer is to use an emulator like VMWare/
Parallels, but that doesnt really address the problem. It would
appear that Microsoft and Quicken have/are both abandoning the UK
market..which would seem to me to be an opportunity for a developer to
jump in with a MSMoney like replacement for both platforms.

Any comments?
