Ok. Very weird this Facebook nonsense. From time to time someone I actually
know emails me to join their FB. I try. Then I forget the &*^&^% password etc I
signed on with; then I get more invites and when I try to follow the bread
crumbs of an email that says: 1 message, 4 friends something or other.
THEN I see names and FACES of people I KNOW. And obviously the goddam FB
program trawls your Yahoo account and whenever an email can be matched to
someone on Facebook whether or not you actually know this person--it may have
been just an enquiry email or organizational email (I just had Ralph Nader as a
"friend" and endless Greek people who I know must be friends of the two Dutch
people I know in Greece)
This is insane. I have never created my own FB other than to make up something
so I could go visit a friend's page.
So today, I find listed in an email link the name of someone I had lost contact
with and was very glad to reconnect. It gives you a message application. But of
course I have no idea if the message gets splattered in the Facebook for all to
see? And some people have "locked" Facebooks but you still get their picture
and opportunity to contact them
Does anyone else feel like they have gone down the rabbit hole on this?
