It's very weird and their activity has bothered me for a while.

I don't have a facebook account but recently got an email reminder
saying that two people I know had recently invited me to be their friend
on facebook. They hadn't. It also listed half a dozen other people it
thought I might know. One was someone I do know but have never emailed.

Question is how have I been connected to them? I don't use yahoo,
hotmail, gmail etc, only my own domain accounts so where was this picked
up? One of the two uses googlemail but the other uses their own domain
email account which suggests that it must be accessing local address
books. Is that feasible / possible? It must somehow have aggregated the
addresses and then sent me an email?

Pat

Exactly. Very creepy. I just couldnt figure out why all these extraneous names
were coming up. Ptui.
