I don't have and have never used Parallels but I suspect it's being nice and letting you share your desktop between OS X and XP. I imagine you have a few choices:
a) Find the option in Parallels, if such a thing exists, to switch off the Desktop linking/sharing b) Hold down the Control key when taking the screen shot yo copy to the clipboard instead - this is not supposed to save it as a file so I'm not sure why you're getting one!? c) Move the picture to a 'screenshot' folder somewhere other than your Desktop d) Use the Grab application and then save your image elsewhere Stephen On 1 Aug 2009, at 19:35, Michael Simpson wrote: > I have taken a number of grab snaps with ctrl+cmd+shift and 4, and > they apear on the desk top, thats fine except that they also show on > XP Desktop in Parrells.
