It may be the eject button, it could be stuck. Or it could be a mechanical 
problem with the actual drive. I don't think it will be anything as simple as a 
software issue. I'm afraid until you get it looked at, you won't know for sure.

Subject: [sussex_mug] Constantly ejecting macbook

          Hi,
  Rather than the common problem of not ejecting discs, my MB pro is always 
trying to eject. It doesn’t seem to do it when a CD/DVD is inserted so is an 
annoying problem rather than a serious one, but never the less it’s always 
randomly making the eject noise which is rather irritating.
  Any suggestions? Have I got something stuck in there maybe?
