All,

I'm sure this didn't used to happen, but when I try and attach an
image file to a mail message (Mail in OS X 10.5.5) the attached image
file looses size and resolution. Doesn't seem to matter what the
format of the image is - TIF or JPEG. The only way I can get around it
is to zip the image first — which is inconvenient both for me and the
recipient. As I said, I'm sure this didn't used to happen and it's a
real pain.

Any ideas?

Phil

PS. Just tried importing the image into iPhoto and using the "Email"
routine from there. Same thing happens; the attached version of the
image is a puny little file no use to man nor beast.
