Hi. I have been away from home for a few days and returned last night to find my WD USB external hard drive (black with the glowing green circle in the middle) which I use as my Time Machine backup, saying I had read only permissions despite the fact I was logged in as the admin. I repaired disk permissions (because that's what I do in an emergency regardless fo whether it's relevant or not), restarted my iMac and now the drive won't mount although system profiler sees it connected. The only thing that happens is the green circle on the drive blinks at me. I have tried unplugging the drive from both the usb port and the power supply but to no avail. Any clues?
