I'm about to make myself rather unpopular, I think! As someone who - amazingly - still likes listening to "The Wireless" (the original ones, that is, and in particular in this context, Shortwave radio), I would have these devices banned! Yes, they are quite effective at enabling computer networking around the house where wireless signals will not go, but they cause horrendous interference to our listening. This is of course illegal, but they supposedly pass all the various EMC (interference) and CE regulations, which they can't possibly.
