Hi Ash Sounds like your com.apple.mail.plist file has become corrupted. If you don't have a backup of the plist file, best to move to your desktop the Mail storage folder found here :
Macintosh HD > Users > (your username) > LIbrary > Mail Recreate your email accounts in Mail, then import the mailboxes using the File menu > import Maiboxes > Apple Mail command (point the dialog box to your Mail storage folder). Of course if you can get a backup copy of the mail plist file and put it in your Preferences folder, that should restore the accounts. Make a backup copy of your Mail storage folder anyway.
