I've finally managed to get my hands on an iPhone and having unlocked and jailbroken it I put my Virgin Mobile SIM into it to find it still can't make, receive calls or send SMS messages. It says it's on Virgin in the top left corner and it does things like know where it is.
I've spoken to Virgin who were vague saying that I might have difficulties with various apps. My question is, do iPhones work on Virgin or should I leave my (ultra-cheap) virgin deal and get a SIM off someone else (who's best?)
