Hi James. I thought it was a G4 because it is (or looks) like my old G4. I bought it from Apple shop for £799 but now you question it, I have looked at 'about this Mac" and it says 10.6.1 and intel core duo 2 Being the ignoramus that I am, I hadn't even realised it was an intel Mac - so no wonder Adobe wouldn't install. As to filling in web forms, I have had lots of trouble with this over the past few days ie booking form for concerts at Wigmore Hall, and a questionnaire which a PhD student asked me to fill in. Neither would register things I wanted to put in. That is why I thought it was because I wasn't using latest version of Adobe. I am using Firefox (mostly) but sometimes Safari.
