Smuggers, I have been using Acrobat 6.0.2 Professional for years and it has until now been trouble free, including under OSX 10.6.2 since it has been out.
Have tried using it today to find that double clicking a PDF in the finder prompts the application to start but does not open the file. If I open a PDF from within Acrobat this is OK, but the app is obviously unstable as it crashes after opening 3 or 4 PDF's. No idea if it is connected but my Dreamweaver 8 no longer remembers my FTP settings... Anybody have any bright ideas? I've done the usual rebuild permissions, restarts, trashing prefs, all to no avail. I'm really loathe to line Adobe's coffers any further for an unwanted upgrade - have you seen the price of Acrobat Pro now!!!!.
