Depends how urgent it is... There are potential savings from Internet
sources but - as I needed a replacement a few months ago to enable me
to complete a major project away from ready mains access, I ended up
going to the Apple Store in Brighton... Genius Bar checked out whether
the fault lay with the battery or the computer, confirmed it was the
former, provided the appropriate replacement (checked to see it was
charging OK) and sent me on my way, albeit some £80+ lighter...

If you've got a bit of time before you really need it, do a search on
the internet for the appropriate part No. (although beware e-bay as
it's easy to get your fingers burnt with little hope of speedy
redress)... Can't give specific suggestions as prices are currently in
flux given the fact that some retailers are 'absorbing' the VAT
increase for the moment...

Good luck !

Happy new year!
I need to get a new battery for my MacBook Pro as the old one isn't
holding a charge. Any recommendations where I might buy a replacement
gratefully received.

Derek
