it's always the people who do film editing who want the cheap machines:-)

basically, it's simple. Fastest processor you can get, as much RAM as you can 
get, as much hard drive as you can get. The first two are the most important as 
you can easily get an external drive. Work out how much you want then buy 
whatever you can with it.
