Hi, I have exported a large iTunes library to a USB drive connected to my Airport Extreme Basestation so that multiple devices can share it. When iTunes determines the gapless playback volume it makes iTunes inoperable and it is taking hours and hours to do only a fraction of the library. What can I do?
If I attach the USB drive directly to my Macbook will it make the process quicker (rather than doing it over the wireless network)? What will then happen in terms of the path that iTunes is then expecting the files to be at when I reconnect the drive to the AEB?
