Hi Jason,
I've hopefully deleted all the dodgy data. I'm now in MobileMe
preferences but am not sure how to designate a source as 'the master'.

I think the thing to do is to designate one source as 'the master'
sync everything, delete surplus/duplicates then reload all the
others from the server.

Yep! I use MobileMe for syncing and it has worked perfectly until
today.

Nightmare isn't it? Because of duplications I decided to use
MobileMe. It is great, no duplications, no need to sync and works
like a dream.

I have been using iCal and more recently BusyCal to sync with the
calendar on my iPhone 3G for some considerable time. I have
separate copies of BusyCal on my iMac and my PowerBook, and sync
with MobileMe. It's all been running sweetly for months until
today, when I noticed that some calendars were duplicating
themselves. I have a calendar for Home, Ann, Medical, Work etc.
This morning I had over twenty Ann calendars and half a dozen
Medical calendars, and they just won't go away. They have now
populated my iPhone calendar app so much that it is unusable.
I would almost prefer to delete all the calendars and the
information they hold and start again but BusyCal won't let me
delete calendars for some reason. So, in desperation, I
uninstalled BusyCal and deleted all the calendars in iCal. BUT
when I switched on my computer a few minutes ago all the b****y
calendars had appeared on iCal and on my iPhone.
Is it me or am I going quite mad?
Best wishes,
Martin
