I just had a look at the MacWorld stuff on iWorks for iPad (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/keynote/id361285480?mt=8). The Apple blurb is wondrous. The user reports are down at 1 star (except Pages, which gets 2).
Basically, they are described as unusable and a rip off. For me this is bad news indeed. I had hoped to use an iPad instead of a laptop, but this clearly won't work. It seems there's a lot more development needed before I, at least, will be able to use an iPad for anything useful. Maybe we need to be careful?
