As you know there are no membership fees etc for SMUG and I give
my time doing the checking of new members and checking whether
messages are spam etc etc so don't feel inclined to cough up the
money (two kids, etc etc)
Does anyone feel like paying towards our keeping this domain?
Jason is happy to receive money via paypal so it won't go through
me at all. I suggest that you DON'T contact Jason directly but
please let the list know if anyone is willing to pay this, or
something towards it, and we'll either collect just enough (or
perhaps for 4 years if several people come forward).
I don't think small amounts are worth it with the paypal charges
so I'm initially asking if anyone would be willing to donate £9?
My guess is that three of those would cover charges and leave
Jason probably enough to buy a stamp or similar for his trouble
registering the domain:-) [Jason, please clarify if I've missed
anything]
I have not had time to think about developing the rather nice page
that Jason originally designed, but who knows, one day...!
