We seem to be more than willing. I wonder if, given that Sam won't absorb the potential surplus, we should think of what we might spend some extra money on. For instance, perhaps a smug repair kit for discs. Maybe this is a silly idea, but there just might be something that, if there were a tiny bit of money, might help members.
