Dear Smuggers,

I hope you're enjoying the sunshine now that it has finally arrived. Here in
Grenoble the snow on the Mountains outside my window is finally vanishing
(at an amazing speed).

I am having a problem running Nikonscan software. The app crashes every time
I boot it as it can't find the scratch disk I assigned it in Preferences. A
dialogue box appears telling me it will use my 'home' disk instead but
crashes as soon as I click on the OK button. The scratch disk no longer
exists (I replaced it with a new disk (new name).

I presume that deleting the preferences file might resolve the problem. Can
anyone tell me where I can find it?.
