All the excitement caused by the appearance of the iPad has made me think about what could be happening in a few years time.
How long do you think it will be before Apple sets loose the domestic iRobot on the market? I'm looking for a robot that will be able to perform some of the more boring household chores like painting the ceiling or the skirting boards; or even one that can help elderly people to stay in their home a few years longer by assisting them to get in and out of bed and so on. Has anyone heard any rumours of a secret Apple development team working on such a project? Should I start saving up to buy an iRobot now?
