I got the printers set up directly connected to the computer so I knew that they worked that way. Then just used the airports as the transfer mechanism. As long as your wifi works it should be fine. You can probably test with speakers to see if they are working. Just play some music through iTunes, though you might need to set up airtunes. Not 100% sure as it was so long ago. Just use airport utility to set up the airports.
