Just installed the update on my 3GS....very smooth, no problems, just usual patience needed when nothing seems to be going on.
Enjoying the drag & drop to create folders.....makes for a very neat and less cluttered phone desktop! BTW, a tip for anyone updating which I've always found makes it less of a heart-in-mouth operation is to change settings to 'auto-lock = never" just for the duration of the update.
