I've seen them do that occasionally. It's a safeguard/reflex if
something is uncertain to the mac (I could guess -- maybe markedly
different temperature recorded from last info?) -- if in doubt, blast
them out as overheating is a BAD THING (that's the technical term).
/ If it doesn't then gradually reduce them/, then you worry a bit more.
