I think where I went wrong was trying to play the video direct from the BBC sports page clicking the 'View Live' link. It said I needed some version of Flash for that and the iPad didn't have it. I'm delighted that iPlayer works on the iPad - wish I could show mum how to get there... she's a complete computer / Internet innocent. Also when I clicked the YouTube icon on the iPAd it asked for username and password. Otherwise nothing doing. How does one avoid that? Tilly
