I updated my iPhone 3G with iOS 4 a few days after the update was released,
I was quite concerned at first with the negative reports that were around
for this particular model of iPhone, however, a week or so later I am happy
with this new iOS.

At first it did behave strangely I was initially under the impression that
my battery was running out much faster than normal also the apps would
often stall for a few movements in the middle of doing something or when
opening.

The solution for me was to perform two hard resets of the iPhone (I'd never
done that before), I can now report that my battery has settled down, and if
anything seems to last a bit longer! The stalls I experienced are shorter
but still there though less intrusive, I can get used to them.

I¹ve come across these two links which I would recommend for anyone
considering upgrading (or getting) the iPhone 4.

<http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2010/07/02appleletter.html> In which Apple
explain the problem with the signal strength, it seems they used the wrong
formula.

<http://tinyurl.com/34ztff8> In particular do not miss the HD video taken
with an iPhone 4, the quality looks amazing.

Two questions:

1. Is it possible to see the date when my O2 contract started on my O2
business website account?
2. Similarly is it possible to see on the website my monthly use of data?

I can find everything else.
