Hi there My wife has got a lovely old 2003 20Gb iPod with touch wheel. It's danced with death many times but keeps on going!
The only issue is that both with iTunes 9 and now 10 it doesn't sync. It mounts on the desktop, shows in iTunes for about 5 seconds and then disappears. This happens even if I set iTunes not to sync automatically. I've tried reseting the iPod without avail. Is there a preference I can trash or reset to get it talking to iTunes so we can upload new music onto it?
