Having given the Windows laptop to my daughter to take to university I'm trying to press an old 'Lombard G3' into service temporarily while we save for a replacement, but while it just about limps onto the Net it won't load Gmail. Safari (v. 1.3.2 - don't all laugh at once) just re-directs and re-directs and then gives up. I've cleared the cache and tried the https site as Google suggests without any luck.
Anyone know of a version of FireFox that's still available that might work instead? Chrome and Opera won't work and I don't think a newer version of Safari will work on this version of the OS. The machine was bought second hand from eBay years ago.
